Staying does not always bring answers.
Sometimes, it brings silence.
the quiet that comes after we choose to stay even when we dont want to like we talked about in last blog. here is what happend after that what .. ###The Quiet After Staying
Not the uncomfortable kind that demands to be filled,
but a quieter one –
the kind that settles once the urge to escape is gone.
At first, staying felt awkward.
Like sitting in a room with no music on.
No phone. No distraction.
Just time moving slowly, without anything to do.
After staying for a while, I noticed something strange.
Nothing externally changed.
Life did not rearrange itself.
The questions did not disappear.
The days still looked the same.
Morning routines.
Small responsibilities.
The same thoughts returning now and then.
Yet something softened.
I stopped feeling the need to fix everything immediately.
To name every feeling.
To reach conclusions too fast.
In that slowing down, listening happened –
not for answers,
but for a sense of steadiness.
Shiv, in this phase, feels like stillness that does not interrupt.
Shakti feels like movement that no longer rushes.
I am learning that not every moment asks for effort.
Some ask only for presence.
Some ask us to stay, even when nothing feels productive.
So I stay.
Not waiting for clarity.
Not searching for signs.
Just here.
Listening.
And letting that be enough for today.
shreya.
